Canyon Country Auto Repair

Being new in the area, I researched out various automotive centers for a recent engine issue I was having. I noticed that this location had all 5 stars consisting of a number of reviews and not just a few. Having taken my car there along with the service that was done, I can truly see why all the reviews were 5 stars. Although no one wants to face a repair, Sam and the crew was nothing less than professional and most of all, caring of what the customer needs are. I must say, I do not recall ever leaving a review before, but this time I simply felt the need to do so. Thanks for the honesty, and the time taken to make what is really not an experience anyone wants to go through, but no better people to go through it with than those I encountered.

Great shop. Honest, straightforward mechanics. They’ve done a lot of work on my cars. I go there knowing I’ll get the best price and quality. Highly recommend

Took my Chevy Suburban in today for a couple minor repairs. They got right to work on it and had it all done while I had lunch at Toppers Pizza across the street. Sam and his crew exceeded my expectations. Would highly recommend them. Will be definitely be bringing my car back. Great service, affordable price.

I took my 2011 Hyundai Elantra to Halsey's Auto center for service instead to the Hyundai dealer...I asked the girl at the office if their rates are lower than the dealer and she said yes..the car was low on freon and the the injectors needed cleaning...they deed a good job but when I got the the bill I was shocked I didn't expect to be so high...Then I was told that my car would need a transmission fluid change pretty soon, I asked them how much it would be and I was told $350.00 I thought that was a little high...I called the Hyundai dealer in Santa Clarita to find out how much they charge , and I was told that they charge $250.00...I would like to keep Halsey's as my regular mechanics but unfortunately I can't afford their rates !!

I own a Passet by VW and since the Santa Clarita repair center doesn't offer repair services any longer I came across Halsey Auto Center. What a great place. Sam Borrelli the service director went the extra mile to see to it that my repair was done in a timely manner but he gave me a print out on a recall that was pending on my 2007 Passet. Friendly concerned and truly a 5 star place to take your car for repairs.

New owner better than previous. 2006 Prius runs like new. Highly recommended.

Wow nicest guy in the world! John, I can't say enough nice things about you! I was really stressed out about my car and that check engine light but John not only fixed the problem but really made me feel at ease! I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for car repairs...very honest and trustworthy!

My brother and I live in the AV Valley and were in route to get to the LA area, his son was in critical condition at a hospital on Sunset Blvd when all of a sudden my car started to make loud rattling noises coming from the front end and finally quit running on the AV freeway just approaching Old Road Highway. I was able to finally get it started, but noticed that I didn't have any power. I exited the freeway and started back north. I pulled into a shopping center and stopped the car. Being my brother and I are both mechanics ourselves we performed a routine inspection. We opened the hood and looked around, then looked under the car but didn't see anything oblivious. I did a google search on my phone for an automotive repair shop and Halsey's came up, only 3 minutes away. When I finally got the car there I went in and talked with Sam. I told Sam what I experienced with the car and that we both had to get to Sunset Blvd ASAP and why. Sam was very concerned about our situation and said he would get the car in and immediately start a diagnostic. I gave the approval but told him that we didn't have the time to wait due to the circumstances. He said not to worry he would hook us up with a rental car. Sam's assistant, Julie used her personal car and took us to Hertz rental car. She stayed with us until we got the car and were on our way. During the afternoon, Sam kept me posted on what they were finding. I approved the repairs and told him I would stop back by on the way home. When I got back to Halsey's the first thing Sam asked was how my brother's son was doing. Then he took us out to the car and pinpointed the issues and clearly explained what needed to be repaired. The right front intermediate shaft with carrier bearing and axle assembly were destroyed. Parts had to be ordered, so the repair wouldn't be completed until the following day. Sam briefed John on our situation and why the urgency. John shook my hand and looked me straight in the eye and told me he would take care of us. The following day Julie called and told me that the car would be ready for pickup around 5pm and to bring the rental car back to them, they would ensure it got returned. When we arrived at Halsey's, Sam again asked about my brothers' son. The cost of the repair was very reasonable. The whole experience at Halsey's Auto Service was phenomenal. Halsey's Auto Service runs a very clean shop, they are highly qualified and skilled in addition to proficient, professional, honest, and trust worthy. I recommend anyone who lives in Canyon Country who needs automotive repairs to take their cars to Halsey's Auto Service. Though we may live in the Antelope Valley, Halsey's Auto Service has acquired two new clients. I think jhon is the best mechanic in canyon country i'll tell you this, no one works as hard as this man and his staff!!!!! I will never take my car anywhere else I don't care if I buy a airplane he'll still be the number one mechanic in Southern California.
